Welcome to the Sawmill Tube and Canoe Livery Inc.
We provide canoe and kayak trips from one hour to seven days on Michigan’s second longest river, the Muskegon River. Our longest trip, seven days, covers approximately 130 miles. We have several overnight and day trips for either leisurely floats or all day paddles. The river system of campgrounds is well placed to accommodate canoe camping. Please call for details and information to build a trip suited to your group. You may want to bring a fishing pole, the Muskegon River has been ranked nationally by Field and Stream for its fishing. You may click our information tab for more information.

Our most popular day trips include a three-hour, four and a half hour, and an all day seven-hour trip.

Our most popular overnight and weekend trips include Hersey to Paris Park where you can camp, the next day from Paris back to the Sawmill Canoe Livery.

From Evart to Blodget Landing Camp Ground, located in Hersey, and then from Blodget to Paris Park, and then from Paris Park to Big Rapids is a perfect three-day run.
